To get an introduction to many things available to do at the lodge, join a scheduled half-day guided tour - either a Scenic Atnarko River Drift, a Via Ferrata Climb, or a Guided Interpretive Nature Walk.

Scenic Atnarko River Drifts

Drift down the meandering Atnarko River between lush green forests and with the snow capped peaks of the Coast Range Mountains towering overhead. 

Via Ferrata Climb

This assisted climbing experience provides participants with a spectacular self-propelled mountain adventure, amazing scenery, and an exciting feeling of exposure with low risk. 

Guided Interpretive Nature Walk

Venture out with a local guide who will draw on their own personal experiences and knowledge of the area to share information about the various temperate climate zones and their ecology.

Free time in the afternoon

After lunch, enjoy free time in and around the lodge property. Explore the amenities or self-directed indoor or outdoor activities.

You may also pay to join a scheduled afternoon activity. Additional activities must be purchased 14 days in advance in order to guarantee guide availability. Activities purchased at the lodge are not included or guaranteed and are subject to group size limitations and guide availability.

Enjoy free time in and around the lodge property. Participate in complimentary self-directed activities or pay to join a schedule half or full-day activity.

Check-out is at 11:00.

We recommend one last visit to the Wildlife Viewing Station before your final breakfast with us.

If you are flying back to Vancouver with Pacific Coastal Airlines, take advantage of a leisurely morning in which you can enjoy the lodge property, make use of the spa and gym, play some lawn games, or simply relax and enjoy the last bit of time at the lodge.

If you require a shuttle to the Bella Coola Airport or the BC Ferries terminal this can be arranged at the time of purchase or while at the lodge.

If you are driving home, our generous hospitality team will pack you a lunch, if you would like, before wishing you the best and helping you on your way.

Arrival & Orientation

For those choosing to arrive by air, enjoy the short 70 minute scenic mid-morning flight from Vancouver International Airport's South Terminal direct to Bella Coola. Marvel at the impressive Coast Range mountains and expansive fjord network as you fly overhead.

Should you require pick-up at the Bella Coola airport, this can be added to you package at the time of purchase.

If you are arriving by car, we recommend arriving no earlier than 14:00. If you arrive early, enjoy a bite to eat in the main lodge or relax with a cocktail on the sun deck.

Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be given a detailed orientation of the the lodge, its amenities, and the wildlife viewing stand.  

Check-in to your chalet is at 16:00. A three course dinner is served at 19:00 each night.
